A complete and unabridged history of the entire planet.
In just sixty minutes of sketch comedy.
After the huge success of 2007’s “Comedy With No Illusions”, the Delusionists are back at the Melbourne Comedy Festival - and this time, they’re tackling the history. Of everything.
Watch as Nostradamus makes his final show-stopping prediction, and get undressed at Johann Sebastian’s “bringing sexy Bach” tour. Chaperone Jesus’ blind date, and cheer ferociously as Quintus battles a cannon mounted on an elephant and operated by a midget in the gladiatorial arena – just like in the old days…
A battery of original sketches borne from the legitimacy of a real life actual Historology professor, and the wilful inaccuracy of the rest of the cast and crew, you’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll be offended, you’ll be misinformed and, let’s face it, you’ll probably ask for your money back.
Starring two RAW comedy National Finalists, a bevy of Cranston Cup grand finalists, and written, directed and produced by Sydney Uni’s favourite comedians, Everything That Ever Happened, Ever exposes the underthings of that ficklest of mistresses – History herself.
“Undergraduate in all the right ways … Intelligent, adventurous, unafraid to fail,
echoing the younger days of the DGeneration. ½ ” - Adam Morton, The Age, April 10, 2007
“Individually The Delusionists are all ferociously fresh and devastatingly gorgeous. Joined together, their 6 distinct personalities morph into a ruthless Power Ranger of massive comic ability. They are a force to be reckoned with.”
- Dave Collins, The Umbilical Brothers
The Delusionists thank the University of Sydney Union for their generous support.
