Mojo | Human Sacrifice Theatre Print
In the amphetamine-fuelled atmosphere of 1950’s Soho, rock’n’roll was exciting the youth of England. With the pulse of this new music in their heads and the smell of easy money in their nostrils, the band of low-life wannabe gangsters at Ezra’s Atlantic nightclub wage a vicious power game for control over the lucrative voice, and body, of teenage heart throb Silver Johnny.

Convulsively foul-mouthed, fiercely funny and energised with a rock style rhythm and energy; MOJO is a sensational collision of Tarantino style violence and Jacobean revenge drama.

Winner of the 1995 Olivier Award for Best New Comedy.

"The language, blunt and coarse and often hilarious, pours out of the characters with the force of the blaring jukebox rock that forms a leitmotif for the dark, violent action." - Chicago Tribune.
