Few string quartets push the boundaries and transcend their genre like the Brodsky Quartet. Their passion to embrace ‘all good music' has led to innovative concerts, exciting commissions and bold collaborations with musicians and composers including Elvis Costello, Anne Sofie von Otter and Peter Sculthorpe. For their outstanding contribution to the world of music the Brodsky Quartet have received a prestigious Royal Philharmonic Society Award.
In their first Perth performance in 10 years, the Brodskys present a carefully crafted programme of early 20th century masterpieces and exquisite miniatures, from Mario Lavista's hypnotic soundscapes to the original version of Samuel Barber's Adagio for Strings.
