The Wind in the Willows Print
Meet all the loveable riverbank animals and follow their irrepressible adventures!

Outdoors in the idyllic bush setting of The Haven Amphitheatre in Castlecrag!

Published in 1908, this classic tale about the dependability of good friends began as a series of bedtime stories for Kenneth Grahame’s son.  It was then adapted for stage by Winnie-the-Pooh’s author, A.A. Milne.  Join gentle Mole, kindly Ratty, wise Badger and the crazy Mr Toad on a series of journeys that will warm hearts young and old.

This live performance of WIND IN THE WILLOWS would be an ideal supplementary text for all HSC students studying “Journeys”.  A pamphlet will be available on how this production explores physical, imaginative and inner journeys.

The Wind in the Willows is the second co-production between RAW-EM Theatre Co. and The Haven Amphitheatre Committee, Castlecrag.  It builds on last year’s highly successful production of A Midsummer Night's Dream that Australian Stage described as "...a highly enjoyable production. If you only like seeing Shakespeare once in a blue moon, then come and sit under one, because this production won’t disappoint".

Julie McKay, the producer behind RAW-EM, is confident that this production will build on RAW-EM’s reputation for delivering a great night’s entertainment which has had audiences either coming back a second time or spreading good 'word of mouth' to family and friends.

As there is no parking at The Haven Amphitheatre, a free continuous shuttle bus operates from the corner of Raeburn Avenue and Edinburgh Road, Castlecrag.  It commences an hour before each performance.
