by the hugely popular, multi award winning television series “Adventure
Island” seen and enjoyed by so many thousands of children in the 60’s
and 70’s - The New Adventure Island has arrived!
Although this is an entirely new show, with different characters and
stories, the one thing that is the same, is the “heart” of the show.
A pantomime style production, The New Adventure Island has all new
stories, songs, tap dancing and interactivity with the audience.
Created by John-Michael Howson, who also created the original series
and The Magic Circle Club, John-Michael recognized there was a gap in
children’s entertainment today – a need for “good, pure fun”.
Remembering how much pleasure his kid’s shows have brought to audiences
through the years, John-Michael teamed up once again with Bruce
Rowland, who wrote all the music for the original series, and went
about creating The New Adventure Island.
So, if you enjoyed the original Adventure Island and remember it with love, bring your children along!
And even if you didn’t see the original – you and your children will still definitely enjoy this new show!
Bring your children and grandchildren along to see the adventures of
Dizzy Daizey, Missy Lizzy, Wazza Clown and Bazza Bear, and the naughty
Mizzda Meaner as they sing and dance their way through an action packed
