Ha ha ha! Plop! the final words and action that seal the fate of the Banoon Community Theatre Christmas Pageant.
Switchboard Arts in association with The Judith Wright Centre, present Ha ha ha! Plop, throwing audiences straight into the night before opening night, where you're invited to witness the casualties of Banoon Community Theatre at their best.
It all goes down at The Judith Wright Centre from 11 - 15 December, where the audience can relax with a drink or two in the terrific Studio 4 atmosphere, and promptly die laughing at the mayhem taking place on stage.
Summer Heights High meets The Chaser's War On Everything via Kath and Kim with a side-serving of Mariah Carey's Christmas Album for good measure!
What does Christmas mean to the selfish director; to the deaf/mute Christmas Star; to the (m)anorexic Christmas Angel; to the good Christian girl who hides a shocking secret; the airy costume designer; and Them Four Guys humming in the corner? What will it mean to all of them, when they find out that one of their own is not only trying to destroy their opening night, but the company as a whole?
Even though the cast are about ready to kill each other and backstage antics include everything from inappropriate sign language to sordid sex to Technicolor yawns, the show must - must! - go on!

Brilliant comedic engineers built this show. Hot actors perform. And our Dad said itís funnier than Today Tonight when he saw us rehearsing. As they say at Banoon Community Theatre, its the season to be jolly - and incredibly deluded and indecent. What more could you want?
