Keith Urban is set to return home. “Love, Pain & the whole crazy World Tour,” will open in Australia at The Brisbane Entertainment Centre on Friday, May 11th, marking Keith’s first return to the Australian concert stage in nearly two years. “Love, Pain & the whole crazy World Tour,” will include, in addition to Brisbane, arena performances in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.
“I have so much at home to be thankful for; everyone that has supported me through the years, the warm embrace that we’ve received there,” said Urban. “I fully intend to return the love the best way that I know how, with a kick-ass show.”
Urban has become well-known for his electrifying, sweat-drenched, bang-for-ya-buck, dynamite performances, which have received critically praise throughout the world. A combination of straight ahead musicianship and the latest in concert technology, at the heart of any Keith Urban concert are the songs; “Somebody Like You,” “Once In A Lifetime,” “Better Life,” “Days Go By,” “You’ll Think Of Me,” and Urban’s latest “Stupid Boy.” All are expected to be performed, along with other surprises.
Since leaving for the US in 1992, Urban – who cut his chops on Australia’s live rock n roll pub circuit – has bulleted regularly to the top of the Billboard Charts, amassed seven #1 singles and twelve Top 5’s. He’s a Grammy Award winner (2005) and a nominee again this year. He’s been recognised by The American Music Awards (AMAs), The Billboard Music Awards and has been the Country Music Association’s (CMAs) Entertainer and Male Vocalist Of The Year respectively.
Urban’s fourth studio release and latest album, Love, Pain & the whole crazy thing, is his second consecutive US #1 album and his already platinum in Australia.
