Following a wildly successful sold out season in July this year, acclaimed Parisian chanteuse Caroline Nin returns to Sydney in November to delight audiences once again with her mesmerising cabaret HYMNE À PIAF.
If you missed out last time, now is the chance to experience Nin as she revisits and reinvigorates the classic songs of Edith Piaf in Sydney’s most intimate and alluring cabaret venue, The Vanguard in Newtown.
It is hard to resist Nin’s seductive tones and charming persona as she takes her audience on a captivating journey through Piaf’s musical life and times.
Caroline Nin is a classic femme fatale, one who charms, intrigues and turns your imagination into a plethora of images, stories and memories through her mesmerising personality, her captivating, rich voice and her own musical interpretations on a repertoire ranging from Piaf to Greco, Dietrich to Brel. Nin was born in Paris, making her debut in the late ‘80s at The Hollywood Savoy, a swing and jazz venue where she quickly gained a reputation for her interpretation of the songs of Fitzgerald, Holiday, Vaughan and many other jazz icons. In the early ‘90s she moved to London where she was asked by Marc Almond to perform at his thriving Soho venue Freedom Theatre. Nin has since performed back in Paris at the Lido and the Sunside, and all around the world in her acclaimed shows.
