THAT Production Company is thrilled to have Eve Ensler’s THE VAGINA MONOLOGUES heading our 2010 season at the TWELFTH NIGHT THEATRE. Cassandra Ramsay makes her directorial debut with this Obie award winning play with a cast of three of Brisbane’s finest and most captivating actresses.
A whirlwind tour of a forbidden zone, THE VAGINA MONOLOGUES introduces a wildly divergent gathering of female voices, including a six year old girl, a septuagenarian New Yorker, a vagina workshop participant, a woman who witnesses the birth of her granddaughter, a Bosnian survivor of rape, and a feminist happy to have finally found a man who “liked to look at it”.
