| Grab your drink of choice, and settle in for a night of laughter and tears as Accidental Productions presents Owen McCafferty’s award-winning play Cold Comfort. This is the story of Kevin Toner who returns to Belfast after an absence of 15 years to have a last ‘conversation’ with his father, recently deceased. This show reveals a character facing his demons for perhaps the first time in his life With both actors fresh from the STCSA production of The Dumb Waiter (Harold Pinter, directed by Geordie Brookman) Cold Comfort features David Rock in this one-man show, and sees his twin brother Brendan make his much-anticipated directorial debut here in Adelaide.
Cold Comfort. An unsavoury character. A riveting storyteller. A spare and striking study on grief and alcoholism.
