 A modern day version of Puccini’s opera La Boheme, Jonathan Larson’s hit musical, RENT has all the ingredients to appeal to today’s audiences – sex, drugs, rock n roll, love, loss and hope.
RENT’S South Australian premiere due to hit the stage in November 2008 is collaboration between Catchy Title Productions’ producer/director, Scott Nell; musical director Matthew Carey and internationally renowned choreographer Leigh Warren.
This dynamic team brings a wealth of experience and critically acclaimed talent to this brand new production of the multi-award winning Broadway musical.
RENT is a celebration of life. Told through the eyes of Mark, a struggling young filmmaker, RENT is a fresh yet turbulent musical that explores the lives of a community of young New Yorkers as they struggle with the tough realities of today.
Director/producer Scott Nell says:

As icing on the cake, the character of Angel will be exclusively dressed by internationally recognised fashion designers George Gross and Harry Who. Fans of the movie and the original Broadway production will recognise the scorchingly hot, high impact score featuring the hit songs Seasons of Love, La Vie Boheme, Take Me or Leave Me and many more.
With a stellar team behind the scenes and a young, contemporary and talented cast on stage, Adelaide audiences will be scrabbling to see what is considered the greatest rock musical of modern times.
