Ursula is a freelance writer, director and teacher. She completed a Graduate Diploma in Drama (Directing) at the Victorian College of the Arts in 2005 and a Masters degree in Creative Writing at the University of Adelaide in 1999. In 2000 she took the position of Artistic Director of Cirkidz, Adelaide’s premier youth circus and in 2004 she won an assistant director fellowship with the State Theatre Company of South Australia. She has written and directed physical performances for groups and organisations since 1996 with productions touring regional and metropolitan venues, events and festivals. Productions devised, written and/or directed since 1996 include; RUSH, gravitas, Mall Teaserz, Out of Place, Click!, Dream Site, Howard Brenton’s Heads and The Education of Skinny Spew and the youth component of Human Momentum as part of Melbourne Fringe 05. |
