Ben Eltham is a writer, critic and creative producer from Brisbane. Currently a Fellow of the Centre for Policy Development, a Sydney-based policy think-tank, he reviews and writes regularly about the arts, culture and politics for publications such as The Courier-Mail, Artlink, Australian Stage, Arts Hub, New Matilda and Mess+Noise. He founded new culture festival Straight Out of Brisbane (or "SOOB") in 2002 and remains Director. His first play, The Pacific Solution, premiered at the Brisbane Festival in 2006. |
