Biography: Richard Bladel has been working professionally in the arts for 24 years as an artistic director, producer, playwright, dramaturg, writer, film-maker and tutor. From 2001- 2007 he has been the artistic director of Kickstart Arts Inc., a Hobart based leader in community cultural development, producing numerous arts projects with communities. The Bone Orchard, his latest play about Tasmania’s forestry conflict, was included in Playwriting Australia’s National Script Workshop in July 07, and will be produced in the near future.
