Biography: Since graduating from a Bachelor of Arts in Performance Studies and English Literature at UNSW, Leonie has focused on the literary development of new Australian works. She is currently reviewing scripts for Currency Press, Tamarama Rock Surfers and Parnassus Den.

Earlier this year, she attended Playwriting Australia’s National Script Workshop as a graduate dramaturg. Mentored by Chris Mead and in association with director Tessa Leong and the writer Lynda Ng, she worked on developing the play Endless Blue – a play about a search for identity by two young Chinese sisters.

Leonie’s introduction to theatre production is with Kiss Me Like You Mean It by Chris Chibnall as part of the 2008 Tamarama Rock Surfers season.
