Good review of a good show. A couple of points though... 
 
You haven't really covered just how funny this show is. Here it sounds like straight cabaret, which at times it is, but other times it's wonderfully silly. It's powerful cabaret with some brilliant comedic moments. 
 
I also think it's important to mention that it is Oscar Wilde's Salome, not the biblical one. I think that that detail is at the heart of Vamp. 
 
And I know what you mean about several viewings, but I'd suggest doing a bit of background reading to get the most out of one viewing. There is a lot of referential stuff in there, so I'd say read up a bit about the women the show is referencing. 
 
Of course several viewings would be good; a lot of a good thing is never a bad thing.
