Woah Brad you are the Mother Theresa of critics. I saw this in Wodonga, and it was one of the worst things I have ever seen on stage. The writing is beyond appalling--what you politely call "a few well known gags" I would describe as cliches that were tired by mid-twentieth century. Is there anyone left on earth who thinks 'wouldn't be dead for quids" Wherethefukawee" and "as the actress said to the Bishop" are funny? True there are wonderful actors in this who have given a lifetime to their craft and done excellent work in the past--and they deserve far better than this. When one thinks of all the very good new Australian work that never sees the light of day, it causes despair to think this gets put on instead. Wayne Harrison should hang his head in shame.
