Kenneth Ransom plays an aspiring politician with dubious morals and bears quite a resemblance to Barack Obama. I only wish he'd not delivered his lines with such violent urgency and anxiety but rather channeled Obama's mesmeric style as it would have enhanced and reinforced the playwright's message that all may not be what it seems. Pamela Jikiemi’s Opal and, Ivy Mak's Katya and the exchanges between Ransom and Jikiemi were the highlights for me. The lowlight was the seat. It's so low I was squatting and I'm only 5'8". I pity the 6 footers in the audience. C'mon Ensemble, how about raising the seats 3 inches?
