I have to agree with the extremely well written review of Saturday evening's performance.
Seated front and centre in the 2nd row, I was able to watch as each musician went to great lengths honouring each and every piece performed on the evening. It felt as if we had transended to another time and place. On numerous occassions I sat back, eyes closed and focused on each and every musical instument as it floated in and out of range, a truly magical experience.
The accustics were amazing and not having been to the recital hall myself for a number of years, I was thrilled to have had the opportunity to experience such sheer dedication, passion and magic!
All of my guests on the evening raved and raved about the performances and I might just point out that each and every musician looked truly striking in their array of glitter, glamour and sequins. Not only are they incredibly talented musicians, they look like they were lifted straight from the pages of high gloss magazines.
Well done Brandenburg Orchestra, I hope we meet up again soon!
