In this week's Time Off Magazine review of Brontë, Brendan Lindsay wrote, "Lighting designer Jason Glenwright - well, I for one can't think of the theatre ever being so well lit".

I'd like to introduce Jason Glenwright, our lighting designer. Words don't really do justice to the creativity, passion, and genuine talent that Jason has brought to the lighting of Brontë. We are very blessed to have him.

After the first run through with the band in the Sth Melbourne rehearsal studios last week Geoffery Williams, ChamberMade's General Manager,bumped into Helen Garner at the tram stop. Helen was also at the band run and was talking animatedly on her mobile. She signed off, spotted Geoffrey and told him she was just phoning her agent in Sydney and raving about what she had just seen. She loved it! Phew! We have four charming and very excited children alternating the roles of Billy and Poppy but they have not been able to start rehearsals with the adults because the police checks (necessary these days when employing children) have taken weeks to come through. BUMP IN
We bumped into MIPAC on Monday ... it's a tech heavy production ... so the set, lighting, sound and projection techies have been working hard pulling it all together!

It's looking good.

Two weeks to go until we open! Things are are all coming together nicely for all aspects of the production.

Rehearsals
This week the director and cast ran the show in it's entirity. It's an opportunity to see the transitions between scenes. All character development is progressing well. It's looking good!
