Stage 1 of the $8 million Dunstan Playhouse upgrade, committed by the
South Australian State Government, has been completed, and the
Playhouse was officially re-opened by Premier Mike Rann last Friday.
Australia’s largest world music festival, WOMADelaide, will again set the environmental standard for
major events when it teams up with the nation’s largest not-for-profit
environmental organisation, Greening Australia.
543 shows, 5470 performances and an estimated 3000 artists are taking
part in Adelaide Fringe 2008 making it the largest Fringe festival ever
to take place in the Southern Hemisphere!
