The Actors' Hub - Perth
Monday, 10 September 2012 15:38

The Actors' Hub is the brainchild of Amanda Crewes, a former WA Academy of Performing Arts graduate, who wanted to establish a facility similar to Sydney's Actors Centre and Melbourne's 16th Street.

Crewes said her aim is to build a solid reputation for what The Actors' Hub is doing - so potential students, aged 16 to 30, must audition beforehand.

Launching on September 3, The Actors' Hub will be located at the Subiaco Arts Centre.

The company is currently going through the process of accreditation so it can offer a nationally-recognised advanced diploma and certificates in acting that can be completed full-time or part-time in 2013.

Initially, in 2012, classes will be held in the evenings, totalling no more than six hours a week.

For enquiries about auditions, course fees, workshops and classes, call The Actors' Hub on (08) 6143 3568.

The Actors' Hub is located at the Subiaco Arts Centre, 180 Hamersley Road, Subiaco. More information is available at www.actorshub.net.
